Our optometry practice and optical boutique in Abilene, TX is seeking a new team member! Is it you?! We are looking for an eyewear specialist to assist patients and shoppers in the optical.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting patients with frame and lens selections, coating options, repairs and adjustments
- Educating patients on lens and frame options
- Providing insurance benefit counseling for materials
- Assisting with frame board management
- Organizing marketing campaigns as needed
- Maintaining the inventory and appearance of the optical gallery
Qualifications:
- Excellent phone presence
- Strong organizational abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Enjoys working with the general public
- Retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of computer processing
- Can keep the vinyl records spinning and the jams rockin'!
Hourly wage ranges from $17-20/hour.
