Meet the Staff

Kennah is owner and operator of Amplified Vision. She is usually working behind the scenes to ensure your experience is amazing from beginning to end. Although her background is in orthodontics, Kennah’s experience in office management and consulting services has enabled her, together with Dr. Grant to build Amplified Vision from the ground up. Outside of running the office, Kennah loves on her husband and her two precious girls. She is also very active in her church and serves on the women’s and youth ministries there. Kennah believes that every patient that walks through the door is a gift, therefore, she is dedicated to providing an experience that can’t be recreated anywhere else in town.

“When God blessed us with this practice in 2012, I quickly became overwhelmed. As with most blessings, especially life-long ones, Satan will try to steal the joy right out of it. And it’s true, there is a lot of stress that comes with owning your own practice, but it is my choice whether or not to focus on the stress or focus on Jesus. I chose to focus on Jesus. He came to give us life and to live it more abundantly. (John 10:10) My philosophy for running a successful business is to keep God first, continually ask for His wisdom, and love our patients as Jesus does. Jaidyn is Amplified Vision’s Lead Technician. Known for her energetic and kind personality, she plays a vital role in preparing patients for Dr. Grant and ensuring they have a positive, memorable experience. Jaidyn is deeply committed to her faith and family. She loves spending time with her immediate and extended family, participating in large get-togethers, and cherishing moments with loved ones. Her strong Christian faith is a driving force in her life, and she loves going to church, serving in the community, and spreading the good news of our Savior, Jesus. Outside of work and family, Jaidyn enjoys spending time with friends and taking care of the family farm. Jaidyn attended Abilene Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology. 

As a lead technician, Jaidyn is a key part of the patient care team. During your exam, she will perform essential tests to prepare you for your examination with Dr. Grant. Jaidyn is excited to continue building relationships with existing patients and establishing connections with new ones. She is dedicated to taking care of your eye care needs and ensures a positive experience for everyone she encounters.

Selah oversees optical inventory management, organization, and décor. You can thank her for always keeping the optical stocked with the latest styles and freshest trends! She also serves as our marketing coordinator and event planner, keeping you in the know on our social media platforms. In addition, Selah assists with frame adjustments, minor repairs, and optical purchases.

Selah graduated from Wylie High School in May of 2024. She is now pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Hardin-Simmons University. She is highly involved on campus, participating in Reslife and the Honors program. She attends The Well and enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.

Courtney Hill is the lead optician at Amplified Vision, and brings a keen eye for style and fashion to our patients. Courtney has been married to her husband, Austin, for seven years. Together, they have a blended family of six adult children and are proud grandparents to seven grandchildren. Her grandchildren affectionately call her Honey. Her 'bestie' is a miniature long-haired Dachshund named Noah. She admits, Noah is 'a bit bougie” just like her. And you’d never guess, but Courtney and her husband love to hunt! She jokes that she could even feed her family if she had to, just by hunting. Courtney is an alumna of Texas Tech University. Her studies included an Art History program abroad in Florence, Italy, which no doubt contributed to her sense of style.

As lead optician, Courtney is sure to give you the amplified experience. After your exam with Dr. Grant, Courtney will help you the rest of the way. With her experience in fashion and design, Courtney is our expert when assisting you choose frames that fit both your personality and lifestyle. She also will assist with Dr. Grant’s specific lens recommendations and many other aspects of your optical styling.

Meet Lexie, our Insurance Coordinator and your behind-the-scenes superhero! 🦸🏻‍♀️

Originally from Lubbock, TX, Lexie has been part of our practice for almost four years, and in that time she’s become the go-to expert for all things insurance. From verifying benefits and making OOP calls to handling claims, accounts receivable, credentialing, and compliance, Lexie works tirelessly to make sure your appointments go smoothly—without surprise headaches. If there’s a way to make insurance easier and clearer for you, Lexie will find it.

Lexie holds a Bachelor of Science degree and brings over five years of experience in optical, optometry, and ophthalmology, so you’re in knowledgeable, capable hands. She truly understands both the clinical and financial sides of patient care and loves helping patients feel confident about their care at Amplified Vision.

Outside the office, Lexie enjoys reading, drawing, decorating, shopping, and fully embraces her role as a cozy enthusiast. She loves spending time with her family, her husband, Bryson, and her pups, Colt and Ruby.

If there’s a detail to manage, a smile to share, or a creative touch to add, Amanda is probably already on it. As our Patient Accounts Coordinator, she keeps patient accounts running smoothly. She assists with glasses orders from start to finish—checking them in, inspecting every detail, dispensing them with care, and tackling frame repairs as needed. Her talents do not stop there; Amanda also brings our office personality to life through our social media platforms and her ever-changing (and much-loved) chalkboard art.

Amanda has been with the practice for over three years, and her blend of organization, creativity, and genuine care for people makes her a favorite among patients and staff alike. Outside the office, you may find Amanda and her husband, Ryan, homeschooling their two children, Lila and Lucas, painting, or building LEGO creations. She has a heartfelt passion for raising her children to know and love the Lord. Amanda is also active in her church choir, youth ministry and other activities!

Micah is a jack of all trades in our lab and throughout the office! As our lab manager, he works to ensure that you receive your order in a timely manner. He also makes sure each order is checked in with precision and that every prescription is accurate. He may also help you with pretesting, optical orders, and custom measurements. 

Micah is passionate about patient care and desires to extend the love of Jesus to everyone he serves. Because of this, he is happy to assist you even after you pick up your order, offering frame repairs and adjustments for added comfort and visual clarity. 

Micah is now a full-time member of the AV team! He is also an active member of Wylie Baptist Church and enjoys fishing, playing the trumpet, and spending time with family and friends. Music has a special place in Micah’s heart as a way to glorify God and express the joy He gives us. And if you didn’t know it already, he’s the doctor’s nephew!

As Amplified Vision’s long-tenured employee and another Jack-of-all-trades, it’s safe to say that Parker has seen just about everything here at Amplified Vision. Parker managed to make his way all the way from the window washer to one of Dr. Grant’s best technicians over the years. He loves what he does and you can tell! So much so, he is now pursuing optometry himself! So, unfortunately, if you come to visit us soon, you probably won't have an encounter with Parker. He is off pursuing a doctorate in optometry right now! But hey...you just might see him again someday...only as your new Amplified optometrist!

Parker has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Mary-Hardin Baylor. He loves playing guitar (just like his Uncle), golf, and watching the sunset. You guessed it...he’s Micah’s big brother!

As our Scheduling Coordinator since 2024, Presley is often the very first person you’ll connect with when you call our office. From that first “hello,” her goal is simple: to make every patient—new or established—feel welcomed, heard, and taken care of. With her warm personality, strong organizational skills, and clear communication style, Presley keeps our daily schedule running smoothly while ensuring your experience is seamless from start to finish.

With Presley’s help, scheduling your next appointment with Dr. Grant is easy and stress-free. She works diligently behind the scenes to make sure your time in the office is efficient, comfortable, and exceptional—because she truly believes every patient deserves an amplified experience.

Presley is proud to call Abilene her hometown and comes from a big, close-knit family that includes her mom, dad, 10 brothers, and 3 sisters—which may explain her natural ability to multitask and connect with everyone she meets! Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, and shopping, and bringing that same joy and care into everything she does.
