What is National Adoption Month?
National Adoption Month is about spreading awareness. It is a month to encourage others to learn more about adoption related events, and to celebrate those lives who have been impacted by adoption. The mission of National Adoption Month is to celebrate the families who have grown through adoption and recognize those who still are waiting for their forever homes.
When is National Adoption Month celebrated?
National Adoption Month is celebrated during the month of November.
Why is Amplified Vision celebrating National Adoption Month?
It is our chance to honor those families that have grown through adoption and help others spread awareness with family and friends. We also wanted to spotlight families we have grown to love through the years in the Abilene and surrounding communities who have been touched by adoption or foster care.
At Amplified Vision, most of us do not have the personal experience of adopted earthly families but we have experienced the life-changing effect of being an adopted child of God. Scripture is very clear that Christian’s are adopted children of God because of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:4-5) Just like adopted children all over the world, we forever have a new name, a new identity and eventually a new inheritance!
How are we celebrating?
We will kick off the event with a trunk show showcasing ALL of Arbor Eyewear’s collections on November 2nd from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Then during the month of November we will be selecting one family per week from your nominations to win a full pair of glasses! But that’s not all, one family will be blessed to win a mini photo session by Copper and Pearl photography to be announced at the end of the month! And for every Arbor frame that is purchased during the month of November, Arbor will donate 3% to support adoption. Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of this event in some way! Either nominate a family that has been blessed by adoption (or nominate yourself!) or come and purchase your frames during the month of November. Either way, you will be celebrating!
